Iran’s Azmoun to stay at Rostov
Iranian striker of Russia’s Rostov Sardar Azmoun will stay at his current club until the end of the season.
The Iranian forward has caught the eyes of Europe’s big clubs after put on a series of impressive displays for the Russian outfit, Tasnim News Agency reported.
Britain’s Liverpool, the Netherlands Ajax and Germany’s Borussia Dortmund have expressed their interests in signing Azmoun in the January transfer window.
“Azmoun will go nowhere. We talked to the player and he accepted to stay in the club until the end of the season. I think he has made the best decision,” chairman of the FC Rostov Board of Directors Ali Uzdenov said.
Azmoun has resumed his training under the guidance of Rostov coach Kurban Berdyev.
