“It seems that the visit of President Rouhani to two European countries will produce positive outcomes regarding the sensitive situation between Iran and Europe,” Mohammad Javad Kolivand, chairman of Majlis Councils and Internal Affairs Commission, told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
One of those outcomes would be global arrogance's unsuccessfulness in efforts to isolate the Islamic Iran, Kolivand said.
And the main outcome of President Rouhani's Europe tour could be the guarantee to be given by the Europeans for their commitments, the parliamentarian added.
When the Europeans saw Iran's efforts to fight the terrorist group of Daesh (ISIS) and deal with the events happening in the Middle East region, they did well understand that the Islamic Iran has great capability, said the lawmaker.
About Iran's policies, the member of parliament said the country has kept itself powerful and is ready to foil the US hostile policies once again.
Iran's president started his two-nation Europe tour on July 2. First, he visited Switzerland for two days. Then he flew to Austria.
President Rouhani's visits to Europe are aimed at meeting with top officials there and sign several agreements on cooperation in various issues.
