Iran's 'Flatland' bound for Belgian film festival

Iranian short film 'Flatland', co-directed by Alireza Keymanesh and Amir Pousti, is scheduled to be screened at the 39th Brussels Independent Film Festival in Belgium.

The flick narrates life experience of geometric shapes in the one, two, three, or even higher dimensional worlds. Each shape is only capable of understanding the dimensions of its own world and denies the existence of other worlds with dimensions more than the one it is inhabiting, ifilmtv.ir wrote.

The short film was shot from the top of a skyscraper in an urban area from a vantage point in a way that each performer is seen as a mere spot.

The Center Multimedia in Brussels founded the Brussels Independent Film International Festival in 1974.

During its 38 years, the festival has hosted many noteworthy filmmakers from around the world. The festival creates a space for unique visionaries and voices.

The 39th Brussels Independent Film Festival is slated for February 11-18, 2018.
