“Some political movements tried to stab me in the back in recent crisis and to gain a position,” Hariri said on Monday, in a meeting with members of al-Mustaqbal Movement, which he chairs, IRNA reported.
Describing the 'backstabbers', Hariri said that they pretended to be anti-Hezbollah and anti-Iran, but in reality their main aim was to hurt him.
Hariri resigned on December 4, while in Saudi Arabia; however, after three weeks, he returned to Lebanon and rescinded his resignation.
He named recent developments in Lebanon 'the biggest deceit'.
