Τhe 58th Thessaloniki International Film Festival, the largest cinema celebration in Greece, was held from November 2 to 12, 2017.
'No Date, No Signature', as the representative of Iranian cinema in the competition section of the film festival, won the Special Jury Award which is considered the festival's second most important award.
The screenplay deals with professional and personal ethics of a doctor who gets involved in a car accident which results in the death of a child.
'Ravens' by Swedish director Jens Assur took the premier Golden Alexander award with its star Reine Brynolfsson also winning the best actor prize.
Late veteran American actor Harry Dean Stanton was also honored for one of his last appearances in 'Lucky'.
The committee gave Stanton, who died in September aged 91, the festival's special mention for his role.
This Year, Iranian actor, screenwriter and director Peyman Moadi was one of the members of the five-member panel of the festival's international jury.
