It is a summary of a four-volume book on teaching the Holy Qur'an to school students in Iran, IQNA reported.
The book was rendered into Russian by Ismail Gibadullin under the supervision of Rais Hazrat Ismaylov, a professor of the Islamic Institute of Moscow. It was published by The Islamic Studies Foundation of Russia.
Gibadullin had earlier translated a book titled 'Language of Qur'an' into Russian.
Islam is the second most widely professed religion in Russia. Muslims constitute some 15 percent of the country's population of around 145 million.
