The ambassador also touched upon the cause and consequences of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Recalling his visit to Azerbaijan, Jannati commended the shared values of the two countries in several fields. He said reciprocal visits by heads of state of both countries showed the willpower of the two nations.
They noted the extensive opportunities for cooperation in the fields of culture, art, science and sport.
Touching upon Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Iranian minister said Tehran supported peaceful settlement of the problem.
